Network Principle and Programming languages 2nd meeting
During our 2nd meeting we had a discussion about the different networking devices.
Such as
1. router used to connect networks together
2. switches add more intelligence to transfers management
3. hub connects a group of host
also the 5 network topologies including the LAN, WAN, MAN
after the discussion we did a short quiz.

Networks Principle and programming languages 1st meeting
Types of Network topologies
1. Bus Topology - use a common backbone to connect all devices.
2. Ring Topology - every device has exactly two neighbors for communications purposes
3. Star Topology - features a central connection point called a hub node that may the net work hub, switch , router.
4. Tree Topology - integrate multiple star topologies together onto a bas
5. Mesh Topology - involve the concept of routes
Diagram Bas Topology
Mesh Topology
Different Types of Networking
1. LAN- Local Area Network- connects network devices over a relatively short distance.
2. WAN- Wide Area Network- Spans a large physical distance. the Internet is the largest. WAN- geographically dispersed collection of LAN. Router connects LANs to a WAN.
3. Home Networking
Network Devices
Hub
Ethernet hub
Multistation Acces Unit
Switches, Bridges, Routers
Routing Table Brouters
Gateways, network Interface Card
Network Protocols, Modem
